I first met Jim at the Priory Junior Tennis Tournament in 1963.We played a singles on the front grass court and Jim beat me,not for the last time unfortunately.This quickly established Jim ( Hugh) as the great competitor in all aspects of life, and in particular squash,a sport he excelled at.I got to know the McCollum family from Penkridge very well and enjoyed 14 years in business with his younger brother Kevin. Jim will remain in the memory, very brave to the last, and an inspiration to all who knew him.
